How Do I Find the Right Part For Me?
The best way to find the right match is to use your unit's model number. If you are replacing a part on your outdoor ductless unit, make sure to use the outdoor unit's model number. If you are replacing parts or filters on your indoor ductless unit, make sure to use your indoor unit's model number.
Sometimes the sticker is facing the wall, and it’s hard to see. In this case, we recommend using your cell phone’s camera, and sliding it up in between the wall and the unit to grab a photo or video of the sticker.
Put the model number into our search bar and your options will appear. If you need help verifying a match, please email us before ordering at Orders@myfiltercompany.com or call 941-720-7292.
If you are replacing a larger filter or another part, you may also be able to search by the part number of the piece you are replacing.

How Often Should My Filter Be Replaced?
If you have a ductless mini split unit, your large screen filters should be replaced on a yearly basis, and your small deodorizing strip filters should be replaced every 3-4 months. If you have pets in the home, you may need to change them more frequently.
Make sure to check our site for combo packs and annual packs that make your yearly filter change a (fresh) breeze!
If you have a 1" thick filter for your heat pump, air conditioner, or split system, the industry standard is to replace every 30 days.
What’s the difference in buying the Genuine Replacement versus the “Knock-Off” Air Filter?
It's true, we're all looking for a deal. Sometimes a generic copy looks like a good idea. We choose to handle filters that are recommended by the original manufacturer, that way we know the unit will perform to the expectations the manufacturer promised. We’ve heard so many stories about the “knock-offs” that we choose to be your trusted supplier for years to come. You might find a filter for a lower price, but you won’t find the same quality and performance!
What is a MERV rating for furnace filters?
MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value which measures how efficiently the filter captures particles of specific sizes that pass through the filter. The lower the number, the less efficient it is. MERV ratings range from 1 (least efficient) to 16 (most efficient).
I found my filter on your site, but shipping seems expensive!
All large filter shipping is charged by dimensional weight. That means that it isn’t only about the weight of the package - the dimensions are also considered. The calculator is pretty accurate. We’ve been shipping filters all over the world, but if you feel the cost is inaccurate, please contact us and we’ll see if we can help.
